Introducing Hubtas 2.0

This update is the next big step for Hubtas, and we’re rolling out features you can’t get ANYWHERE ELSE in the equity crowdfunding world. This is not only a huge move for Hubtas but an equally as important move for equity crowdfunding. Wallstreet spends billions of dollars on investing tools every year, because even a slight edge can substantially increase portfolio returns. But equity crowdfunding is largely devoid of the same tools institutions use in venture capital and the stock market. Hubtas is going to be that solution, and this update is the first major move in making that happen.

This was the main focus of this update. We’ve been building around this feature for months, but it was finally time to bring the entire ecosystem together into one culminating feature: The Hubtas Dashboard.

Adding Companies to your Watchlist

Your watchlist is a list of companies that you want to receive news, updates and the latest SEC filings from. These may or may not be companies that you have invested in, but they are startups you want to keep an eye on and track.

In just seconds, you can use the search bar in the top left of the overview tab to find the company and select to follow - It really is that simple.

(Once you add at least one company to your follow list, you’re entered into the sweepstakes. The same is true for adding a company to your portfolio)

Followed Companies Features

What does following a company do specifically? The box to the right of the search box you used to add companies has two feeds: SEC Filings and News.

By adding a company to your follow list, you now have a custom feed of those companies latest news and SEC filings.

The SEC filings feature is particularly exciting because this can literally save you hundreds of hours.

If you have a large portfolio, entering them individually into the SEC EDGAR site to see if a company in your portfolio has a new filing is tedious and time-consuming. SEC filings provide some of the most crucial data for your portfolio. These can give indications of when a company is going public, financial updates, and material changes to a company. Now, get a convenient feed of these crucial updates all in one place.

Using the switch in the top right, users can then get another crucial feed: News. Much like SEC filings, news is a vital component in keeping up with your portfolio. Hubtas has a strong and growing news and media brand, providing you with the latest news and updates on your portfolio, now get them directly in your dashboard.

Hubtas Portfolio

Your portfolio is just that, the companies currently in your portfolio. Whether it’s 1 company or 100, you can add a series of details about your portfolio and then start seeing analytics and a breakdown of details about your portfolio.

The Hubtas Portfolio V1 is going to be a crucial first step in the most powerful portfolio tool in equity crowdfunding. Currently, it allows you to add all the details of your investment, then track:

1. Portfolio ROI

2. Industry Breakdown

3. Valuation to Revenue

4. Revenue to Employee

And a few other metrics. In the future, we plan to launch substantially more analytics metrics, including premium analytics and portfolio analytics customization options.

Hubtas Chat

Another unique feature we added is a simple chat feature with other Hubtas users. Want to discuss your investment ideas? Chat about equity crowdfunding in general? Complain about your portfolio? Brag about your portfolio? Well, this new chat feature allows you to contribute to shaping perceptions around individual companies and chat with like-minded investors in equity crowdfunding.

Simply use the $ to search any company currently raising, or # to start tagging companies with labels like “Bullish” or “Sketchy.” This ties into our new “research” tab, which is all about crowd-sourced knowledge relating to companies in equity crowdfunding. One person can conduct solid due diligence about a company, but hundreds of investors can perform thorough due diligence covering nearly every angle.
